Hawaii consists of eight major islands: the Island of Hawaii, or the Big Island, is the largest and gives its name to the entire chain of islands; Oahu, Maui, Kauai (the Garden Isle), Moloka, Lanai, Niihau and Kahoolawe. People in Hawaii are extremely friendly and they have always seem to smile. Hawaii is a favorite destination for surfers, weddings and honeymoons, nature lovers, snorklers, divers, actually, for just about everybody. Our favorite island is Kauai, the Garden Isle. This is where we spent our honeymoon. Kauai is home to Waimea Canyon (the Grand Canyon of the Pacific), the Na Pali Coast and Mount Waialeale (wettest spot on earth).
