Lake Tahoe
Lake Tahoe, with its 22-mile shore and azure-blue waters, is a premier, year-round vacation destination. While Lake Tahoe is best known for its Winter resorts, with such world class skiing resorts as Heavenly and Squaw Valley, it is also a great summer vacation destination. In Winter, skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, snowshoeing are perennial favorites. In other seasons, the lake welcomes water sports enthusiasts (water skiing, jet skiing, windsurfing) and nature lovers. There are many walking and riding trails around the Lake region.
