Online degrees
Who’s got time to get a college degree these days? But who can afford not to? College graduates earn 75% more income than high school graduates.
Web-based technologies provide a distance learning platform over which to take online classes and earn an online degree. As a result many colleges and universities have adapted their business models to cater to distance learning students. Online students are no longer limited and constrained by the physical nature of traditional learning methods. Instead the new breed of online students can complete and earn their degrees at their own pace.
The actual cost of online courses and degrees varies by colleges and universities, and also by programs. Online doesn’t necessarily mean cheap though online programs are often less expensive than traditional on-campus programs, especially when costs such as lodging and transportation are taken into account.
